Yesterday I was streaming for 4 hours and I thought it would be successful, because at some point even 11 people were watching me. It haven’t happened to me before when streaming gamedev! But unfortunately… the truth is… nobody followed my channel. (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)
During the stream I made some improvements to the roads and added basic textures to the Kuma House cafe, but I also modeled one nice thing, which is finally making Kuromori look like it is indeed located in Japan. It is… *epic drums playing* torii.
The famous Japanese gate. A landmark, a structure so typical for Japanese architecture that it only needs noodles hanging from its sides (not like hanging noodles are a typical piece of Japanese landscape). Saying it shortly, Kuromori is really J A P A N E S E now.
By the way, each part of a torii has its specific name and there also are few, also specific, types of them. I couldn’t just make whatever I want to, I had to remember about each little element. So the torii I made is a Kasuga type.
As you can see, it looks just like the one in game (alright, alright, I’m repeating myself, but I’m really proud of it).
Also, I’m hoping to upload my first dev vlog tomorrow if nothing stops me.
